Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)

A ‘religious experience that responds to a deep hunger in the child’ (Sofia Cavaletti).

For decades, the methodology of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) has inspired adults and transformed the faith lives of children around the world.

A number of you may have seen, or been trained at, the atrium in the Centre for Catholic Formation in the months leading up to the pandemic. Unfortunately, this precious teaching space had to close. We are delighted, therefore, to hear of a new atrium opening in Northwood parish in the Diocese of Westminster. What is more, at this new location the complete Level 1 training course (parts A and B) will be offered during 2024.

Six Saturdays in 2024, 9am - 5pm

Dates: 16 March, 13 April, 11 May, 15 June, 13 July, 7 September

Any adults wishing to offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) method of religious formation to children 3-6 years of age you are invited to register for the course, offered by two qualified CGS trainers, in St Matthew's parish hall, Northwood. Register by 9 February 2024.
